1879 Zulu War

The images of Michael Caine from the film ZULU are used here for comparison only.

Note his tunic is more like a post 1881 Full dress tunic.

Most officers wore the Blue Patrol tunic, some wore the India pattern tunic. Very few if any wore the Full dress tunic.
